Are mushrooms disgusting ?

Mushroom dissenters are scum and should be forced to eat nothing but Spam. In all seriousness though mushrooms are fucking great and always makes a dish 10x better whenever I add them in. Not to mention mushrooms, pepperoni, and jalapenos are the holy trinity of pizza toppings.

As for the whole fungus thing, potatoes n shit literally grow in dirt and absorb the yummy nutrients in the soil, poop and all. Bon appetit!

Yark, The taste just disgust me and i can't imagine myself getting that sort of thing inside my mouth.

I hate mushrooms, taste, smell, look feel, I just think they should not be edible at all

Just because they are fungi doesn't mean they are gross. Mushrooms taste awesome like meat but its not. The texture is kinda like dick! yum

They are definitely an acquired taste, but as the same with beer, once you've had enough you'll learn to love it.

I don't personally eat mushrooms on their own, but in a stew or on a pizza I really enjoy their taste and squishy feeling.

To be honost its everyones personal prefrence. if you like them then thats how your tastebuds work. Weird.

I don't think mushrooms taste very good. I don't use them in cooking at all.

Only good ones are with 'magic' They still taste nasty, though.
