Are people actually excited for when school starts?

I've seen some people who before have really hated school but after the pandemic and online learning happened, many people really wanted to go back to school for social reasons.

yeah, just depends on the person some ppl will kill for ppl to be back online

ppl get bored of the locked inside house life and wanna get back in touch with their friends
