Are there any people that share the same sediment as me?

Finding people to connect with can be quite challenging, let alone forming genuine friendships.

During school years, it was somewhat easier to meet and bond with others, although many of those connections were fleeting.

Work environments provided opportunities for interaction, but often, relationships remained confined to the workplace. Outside of work, maintaining connections with busy individuals became increasingly difficult, despite efforts to stay in touch.

Currently, I find myself lacking active avenues for meeting new people, which has left me feeling somewhat stagnant.

I'm keen to find like-minded individuals to engage in discussions about programming, web development, or other shared interests, but I have no idea where to find these individuals.

I get where you're coming from. Making friends as we get older can be tricky, especially when it feels like most of our connections are just surface-level. Work can be a bit of a bubble, right? You chat with people, but it often stays within the office.

It's totally normal to feel a bit stuck in terms of meeting new folks. You're keen on connecting with people who share your interests in programming and web development, which is awesome! Have you thought about checking out online communities or forums? There are some great places where you can find folks who are into the same stuff you are.

It might take a bit of effort, but don't give up! Building friendships takes time, but when you find people who get your interests, it's totally worth it. So go ahead, put yourself out there, and see where it takes you! :D

"Have you thought about checking out online communities or forums?" -- Recently, but seems almost like a dead end as most forums I'm aware of are.. pretty much dead. That, or I don't know of the right forum. Trying to find them is a bit difficult. Any idea's for other forums that aren't entirely dead?

For me, the issue is rather finding people to be able to talk to. I can talk to people relatively fine but it's finding the type of person which I want to converse with , which is troublesome.
Even finding people in general is troublesome. Do I just go to a park and wait for some random dude to walk by and strike up a conversation? Meh.

I feel you! It can be super frustrating when you're searching for a good online community and all you find are ghost towns. But have you checked out places like discord or slack? They're pretty lively and have tons of groups dedicated to coding and web stuff. Might be worth a shot!

And yeah, I totally get what you mean about finding the right people to chat with. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack sometimes. Randomly chatting up strangers at the park might not be your thing, but who knows? You might stumble upon someone interesting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hang in there, though. Keep exploring different options, and I'm sure you'll find your tribe eventually! :D
