I don't have children yet. But I hope that I would raise them in a way that I don't need to prohibit smoking and they wouldn't smoke by their personal choice.

Fuck no. Unless I know it helps them with anxiety or seizures, I'll whoop their ass if they smoke weed.

I'll let them decide for themselves when they're adults, ideally. Unless they need it for a medical reason, in which case I would totally support it.

When they get to the age of 18 then they can make their own choices

Depends what you mean, Smoking is a very broad term after all. Ciggarettes, no. Weed, Yes. Vape, Yes. Hookah, I would be disappointed even if they asked about Hookah. Crystal Meth? Fuck no, that shit destroys you! Crack and other chemicals? Same fucking thing as meth! Be more specific next time, okay?

as you can see he posted in the "420 section" so he definitly talks about weed. Well how I am allowed to say no to my kid when he is eighteen years old. I mean when I was eighteen I smoked as well weed but if I see that it destroys his goals I would stop him.

My parents let me smoke, but I wouldn't let my children smoke anymore than I would "allow" them to drink alcohol underage.
If they are young and healthy, then there would be no reason for them to use it medically; if they are young enough for me to dictate what they "can"/"can't" do, then I assume their brain will still be undergoing development and I would not want to risk impeding that short, precious process of neurological revolution. Furthermore, a child does not have a fully developed frontal cortex, which means they are literally UNEQUIPPED to be making decisions.
Hell, most adults do not make wise decisions and they often lack the foresight or possess the thinking abilities to choose the healthy, right path.
I don't see it as anymore harmful than alcohol, under most circumstances.
But no - as an adult parent, I would not allow my child offspring to engage in recreational (or medical, if I can avoid that) drug use.

Yeah, imma let them do that. As long that they take responsibility for what happens afterwards.
