Are you smarter than your parents?

well. to a degree in certain categories, yes, i am a computer whizz but my dad is an electrician soooo

I would like to think so even though my dad is a lawyer.... But he's also an alcoholic with extremely contradictory views who hasn't had a real job in decades so I would like to say that..yes?

So being lawyer isn`t a real Job ?

Well, in some ways I can surpass them, but nevertheless these people are older than me in age, wiser and they may know something that I do not know.

Depends on what you think is "smart". I have a higher degree and better chances to get a good job, but am I really "smarter"? I would say I am better at learning stuff to find a job but I have no idea how the real world works and I don't have experienced what my parents or grandparents experienced (war).

It is, but the fact that he hasn't really done anything with it is what makes it "not a job". If he were active in his work then yeah, i'd consider it a real job

i dont know, my mum is very smart and i probably wont get a higher well paying job then her

I obviously am, I mean why else do I exist if not to surpass them in everyway possibe.
