There are two sides to arma 3 in my opinion... you either play becaouse of the millitary aspect that was the aim arma 3 was heading for or you can find a roleplay server to join.... both are fun to play on but roleplay servers can be ups and downs depends what server you join....

in conclution i would say you shud cheack it out... it has a lot of content and its fun to play with friends.

Arma is really fun on modded servers but you need good gaming PC to handle that unoptimised crap :(

Yeah Arma is fun once you get the controls down for the game. It took me sometime, but the game is really fun with mods!

Before you even think of getting Arma, do keep in mind, even with a beatly PC, you will not have a lag-free experience one way or the other.

As a general rule of thumb, Arma is tons of fun. There are various problems. For example, no matter what PC you have, it *will* lag. If the server is mildly populated that is.
As someone who only enjoys hardcore games, no crosshair or third-person etc. etc., you don't really have much of a choice in regards to server there. But, if you do find one, especially the King of the Hill ones, oh well. It's a blast!

Most populated Gamemodes are Altis Life (Which, different servers can sometimes have the feeling of a completely different game), earlier mentioned King of the Hill. And. Well. Missions. But Missions you can only do organized. That means, a clan, playerbase, whatever. And someone who will create those missions for you. Which is hellofa work.
