Arma Is arma fun?

I dont know i have never played it but can people give me some context about the game.

Its very hard to get into but if you can it is very cool. I think there is a free trial for arma 2 you can try

not that much.. I played the demo and I can say to you.. isn't that much.. not saying the game is bad.. only saying isn't that all

It really depends on what style of gameplay you are into, the most fun I've had in ArmA is running with groups doing large coops with like 50-80 players (fighting AI). For me that's the most fun ArmA gets - I have never been into the ArmaLife stuff, so can't comment on that. This is coming from someone with over a thousand hours in Arma 3 and about the same in Arma 2.

I played it only in RPG style and it was too slow for my taste

I enjoyed the roleplaying servers more than anything else. So I'd suggest looking into a life or modified version.

I used to play Arma 2 with the ACE Mod. It basically made the game look even more like a military simulator.
Oh, and the community was always awesome, specially people from the Tactical Gamer servers!

Arma is fun if you're the right person for it. it's not that casual game you pick up and just get into it and hell even with friends it's hard to say "Hey guys you wanna play ARMA?" most ARMA players are just ARMA players. There's loads to do in Arma though RP, MilSim, KOTH etc etc.
