Installation.
After the first attempt to run Sample you need to create a folder "Plugins" in the folder ACFSample and put there "AscentCombatFramework", then run Sample again and everything should work, again the version of the engine must be 5.2, because he swears that the plugin is created on this version

I uninstalled the 5.2, to much instable at least for my rig, and I'm gonna uninstall the 5.1 as well very soon. I definitely focus on the most stable 5.3considering the 5.2 kept on crashing from the very beginning launching the engine. I'm not sure which improvements have been done to this asset, it left me disappointed anytime I gave it a try again. I'll pass on this one but I'm glad there's somebody sharing it with the sample included. I'd love to see what you guys could make out of it, it's a pity people come here to download assets but never share any preview of what they're doing with them, even if I can understand why nobody does.
