Make sure you don't minimize and that you just drag down and click onto the previous tab.
You can do anything while this is running as long as the tab is in focus like I showed above, you can play games, watch Netflix, go to sleep, etc.
BONUS: Now I only added this part because I want to see you succeed using this method. On the left side, there is a "Watch Videos" tab and a "Take Surveys" tab. Under "Take Surveys" click the red peanut labs one. Now scroll down to the bottom and you will see 7 tabs. Look through each tab for ones that say "Confirms Instantly" or "Confirms in 2 minutes" the ones that are 2k-7k gems are usually just an open the page and instantly get paid or enter a fake zip code. That should get you a nice starting bonus and you can complete any other free offers for gems while you are still gaining gems from the videos.
