The cost of electricity to profit you'd be getting is probably not worth it. Unless you have free electricity.

Do you guys know a good coin to mine with a raspberry pi 3?

I tried bytecoin and this worked well for me but it takes so longg...

Im pretty sure with the current difficulty and price point of coins, even the Pi's minimal power usage would cost MORE than you would earn from mining. Unless you were to buy external HDD's (3.5" powered drives) to mine a coin like BURST. Then you could turn a small profit. Say 20-30TB, looking at $50-100 a month depending on your luck

Answer: none, that's not what a raspberry pi is for if you want to mine you really need to get an actual miner, you'll end up spending more on your power bills than what you will gain from mining. Even with a computer specifically built for mining chances are unless you live in an area where power is cheap you're still not going to be making much off it.

... Also you have a high probability of frying your pi's CPU so at the end of the day you'll just be out another $30.

the raspberry pi 3? has not enough processing and resource for computing of data for crypt o currency system, you need and powerful system like a HPE server with more GPU Power for this process.

Remember as well what you are competing against, GPU powered mining rigs (home based and "more commercial") as well as ASIC miners, i've wanted to do the same with my raspberry but I'm going to rather try and build a 3d printer with it!
