BMW E39 528i or 530d (96 - 00)

Hey!
I am looking to buy a used car and i want to know your opinion on these cars.
I will mostly drive in city and sometimes maybe some longer roadtrips. And i would like to sometimes have some fun with the car like "drifting" but just for fun.
528i I will propably put in lpg system. (So fuel economy should be equal or even better with lpg.)

mine was when i hit my head, and then woke up on room withqdsdqsdzawout light, i thought i've died lmao
