not interested BTC, you can use

bitcoin profitable? it can be. if you trade it then it is more likely to be profitable. it isn't that profitable to mine unless you have the certain hardware, I am currently playing the long game with bitcoin, as I believe it will go up eventually, I am also holding a few other currencies. I recently sold doge for btc too. I will be getting doge again, but waiting for it to go back down to the 40 satoshi level.

Mining Bitcoin today is a rather risky business, unless you're already heavily invested in it. My advice would be to seek out the other markets, there are a lot of smaller crypto currencies where you can make profit. But it require you to pay close attention to the market. If you can manage to get into an IPO at an early stage, be with it for a brief time, then you can make some money. But the key is to not get greedy. Take the time, trade smart and when your profit is up, invest with higher risks. Then move up - try to time ETH/LTC markets and buy in/sell out at the right peaks. And slowly invest in BTC. In time it's likely that BTC will raise up again, and you will have a good profit.

i agree. mining bitcoin is risky. just imagine your rig might be worth 10k usd and it has to compete with companies that spends millions on mining facilities.
