So, I'm 16, for some reason I'm really in to WW2 stuff. I like ww2 games (Company of Heroes 2, BfV etc.) I also enjoy seeing and hearing about history regarding ww2.
After watching "Saving Private Ryan" like the 10th time, I found out that there was a HBO mini series called "Band of Brothers", the idea is that it's a company of men in the US army, their apart of the 501st airborne Easy Company which jump straight in to Normandy and then fight through France and then later in Germany. I don't really want to spoil exact things, but it's very interesting to see this type of show. It's not solely focussed on showing the viewer just war and blood and stuff like that. Obviously, that was a big part of ww2, but also the soldiers mentality, their feelings towards others and many other things. I personally at this moment in time think it's the very best WW2 show you can see, sadly it's only 10 episodes, but oh my god they are worth gold. There's also a Pacific side HBO mini series called "The Pacific", it's also about soldiers, but now on the Pacific side fighting the Japanese.
I really recommend people to check them out and then give your opinions here, but try not to spoil too much.
