Battlerite; your take?

What's your guys take on Battlerites approach to the MOBA scene?
Heard they're also working on publishing the game on Xbox; curious to know which will bring the bigger competitive scene.

To me it seems Battlerites dev's lack the spirit and/or dev's to create anything amazing.
What they have now is great but there could be much more improvements which I would love to see from them.
