I like the Java Edition, it has so many features and modifications and servers, and is also much more popular than the bedrock edition.

Java feels like the more genuine version of the game seeing as it's the version i've been playing since 2009, I've played the Xbox version but i really don't like using a controller to play a first person game.

Java, easy. I love how moddable it is and how easy it is to find good servers.

My roommate has an xbox one, so I just play Bedrock on my PC mostly. Yeah I can't mod it, but it's as smooth as fucken silk, it's got a lot going for it lately, especially the beta.
bedrock
there is more possible for development and mods and there are no lags

Java Edition is better. Bedrock is a lot smoother, but java is a lot more customizable and easier to use

Java, because it gets updates quicker than bedrock.

Jave has been there longer and the version everyone remembers playing.

I prefer JAVA edition because of the possibility to Update and customize game with mods and plugins for servers
