Its best to do your own research about investments.....yes i did that well before i start crypto

XRP and specially ETH could be very good alternative to BTC.
ETH in my opinion is the next bitcoin

my favorite is of course ethereum, maybe a little bit of EOS

Like other people have said i would try ethereum but there may be other coins on the rise.

ETH is a good bet. Search around sites for a bunch of different cryptocoins, then monitor all of the rise and fall prices for a bit and judge it yourself.
