Avira Prime is expensive but very good for me.
It's faster than others and greater protection. You can use some add-ons also.

recently bought bitdefender on a sale and it works really well. It doesnt slow down my oc at all and detects everything ive tried to get past it

Windows Defender does the job lol, dont pay for antivirus softwares....its lame when you are getting something equivalent for free

I do not use antiviruses besides the default Windows Defender. They are typically resource hogs. Although I do not download sketchy things unless I am using a test Virtual Machine. If a computer is somehow infected (always a friend's, never mine), I can usually clean it up with Malwarebytes or worst case.. suggest a fresh install.

Trend Micro is good been using it for around 4-5 years now. You can use it on multiple devices with the same key i've also got it installed on my phone

I used Norton when I had a windows computer but I have a Mac computer now so I don't even bother with any Anti-Virus software
