I'm using Opera browser and I'm so happy with it. I don't feel any lack of things that are in Google Chrome

I'd argue that currently the three "best" browsers are;

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Opera Browser
  • Firefox Quantum

Yes, you read that right, no Chrome on this list. Reason for that is that Google Chrome fails in so many places. It's overall design isn't remotely consistent with Google's other work. The browser has freezing issues and constant crashes. Not to mention that it actually runs slightly worse than Microsoft Edge and on top of that it takes an insane amount of resources from your PC to simply run. Both Opera and Firefox also scores higher on Benchmark tests than Chrome does, and last time I checked, so did Edge (don't quote me on that though).

Chrome as it is versatile, although Opera browser has a lot more features that are built into the stock browser.

I prefer to use Chrome, but I actually did a little online survey for a project (sample size of 42) where some people used web browsers like UC Browser or Vivaldi, which is quite interesting.

I really like firefox and various other versions like pale moon. But I also like chromium based browsers like epic privacy browser. It really depends on what I am doing and what the browser specializes in.
Essence in the mist, that is the shadow with the grip.

Go for firefox, stable as it is. chrome eats too much ram.
