It was definitely Call of Duty 2. Start from the roots man, this game really made the series what it needed to be before they decided to fuck it with Micro Transactions.

my opinion the best cod ever was black ops 2. loved the game overall.

CoD4 really did it to me, it was the ultimate game for any group of friends no matter what! Everyone had it.
