Unreal Engine, it has so many features, it's easy to learn, it has a big marketplace and of course it has a ton of tutorials online.

I think it is Unity, there are lots of tutorials, assets ( free assets looks great as well), more documentation, easier to find help and to me easier to use.. Smile

I love UE4 Mainly because of how easy it is to use and how amazing the games look.
and the free content they give out.
I mean all of the quixels library for free if you use UE4!? Its a steal!

Personally I prefer Unreal Engine 4 over Unity. Unity just feels gimmicky in comparison.

The best engine for indie developers is Unity because have a solid community.

It really depends on what type of game you are making. Some perform best with 3D, 2D, or platformer games. However Unreal Engine seems to be good with all three of these forms.

Unreal Engine, it has a lot of documentation with examples on youtube. Of course there is still Unity, but I dont really like the optimization there
