I like to play with Talon in the mid, it has a lot of burst, perfect for IK.

Syndra's burst is okish i think, but depends on the elo.

Every champion is good in it's own way.
To play and level i would say low tier midlaners like: Veigar and Annie.
To learn how to play and be good at the game at a point where u can reach platinium or diamond... I would say LeBlanc, Talon, Fizz, Ekko, Zed... What do they all have in common? Roaming potential. You roam bot, get a couple of kills and snowball and get your team ahead, and late game they can destroy the adc's in a teamfight, even if you die, you take out a major player in their team. Their constant source of damage.

I would check out syndra shes pretty strong right now along with sylas

Many people suggest that Zed is hard to learn, but I'd disagree, just a few matches and you know the combos. If you get them right then you got tons of damage.

I play Pantheon on mid, i like it because you can jump on ennemy and block him for some seconds, you can block all the damage from anything with your shield ( your E ) and you can throw your spear with holding your Q or just attack with it by pressing Q, he's pretty Ez to play and he can be really powerfull if you play good with it
