Both have advantages and disadvantages. Choose wisely

Anti Cheat Plus is good enough for most servers

AAC is the best Anticheat Plugin, that i used. I prefer it.

The best anticheat for 1.8 is AAC it has the big network GommeHD

Every anticheat plugin has good things and bad things.

The advantage of a premium plugin is that the hack client maker must buy the plugin to make bypasses.
Like if you have NoCheatPlus, some clients have specific hacks that bypass the checks of NCP.
I use AAC now. There are some false positives but you can avoid that by editting the values in the config.
I'm too lazzy to do that but it is on my todo list.
The author of the plugin updates his plugin frequently but sometimes a response can keep on some days.

I tried many anticheats, the best is AAC imo.... or just pay a dev to code one for your server

AAC works pretty well.
If you dont have the budget for that you could probably find a good config for NCP

There are a few types of anticheats I believe. There are 'alert' based anticheats which flags players and notifies staff members. I use these quite often in my server. There are also those anticheats that block cheats such as nocheatplus, these are quite effective but they also serve as a reference point for cheaters to develop more sophisticated cheats to bypass. I would recommend alert based anticheats honestly.
