I'm a sucker for roguelikes/rogue-lites and Pixel Dungeon is by far the best one on mobile. (Yet Another Pixel Dungeon is a mod/expansion of it and is even better.) It's brutal but also fair with a ton of items and equipment. Also not a resource hog.

White Day. The graphics are amazing for a mobile game. Great storyline and generally creepy vibe.

Sky Force is addicting.

C.A.T.S. is really good and new.
