Premiere pro is what i'll recommend being a editor myself , you can just sync it with other softwares like audition , photoshop , and after effects it's just make your life overall easy

premiere pro is honestly the best in my opinion. i feel like it's more user friendly for beginners than other programs, has so many features, and it's the easiest to find tutorials and presets online. it's even better if you also want to learn after effects since you can send project files between programs and have a workflow across both premiere and after effects.

Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
With regards with the sound editing, I use another app particularly for sounds/music which is Sony/Magic Sound Forge. I am using the Sony old version though.

i think davinci is the way, way simpler and can do color correction too
