Best anime to get you started on amines

Hi, my best friend enjoys animes but i dont so much and im here asking you guys what is the best anime to start when you are newbie on this matter

Is your best friend a male or a female?

If its a male, recommend Shounen and Action anime.
Like:
-Hunter X Hunter
-One punch Man
-Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
-Boku no Hero Academia
-Nanatsu no Taizai
-Tokyo Ravens
-Etc

If your friend is a female, recommend her a Romance or Shoujo anime.
Like:
-Clannad
-Your lie in April
-Anohana
-Akatsuki no Yuna
-etc

I second this
Some other similar anime from the same studio (kyoto animation) are Nichijou and K-On!

tokyo ghoul season 1 2 3. for life though the latest season was a bit disappointing in action
