tbh, when it comes to antivirus software windows defender is already quite good. Most antivirus stuff is only really going to be useful if you need to protect yourself from ransomeware.

Well i use AVIRA for my notebook, welp. Can any guys recommend a new antivirus for me?
hands down Webroot or Kaspersky are the best antivirus. I recommend Webroot, it's simple to use and very effective. I have not had a single issue thus far.

I'm astonished that no one has mentioned AVG AntiVirus. So far it has catched everything and I have been using it for many years.
It has different modules for every relevant part of computer work you can switch on or off like web surfing protection, mails protection, vpn, phishing protection etc.

I have always used Norton's, and currently use the Endpoint program for Windows 10. I can't remember the last time I got a virus.

I use Kaspersky Antiviruson my laptop. I am satisfiedwith how it works. I think that I'll not change it for another antivirus at least during this year. If there is something better only then I'll try a new one.

Don't use an antivirus at all anymore, what's the point. I download a few files p/year nowadays.

gotta pay for premium for it to be worth anything, but i've used malwarebytes for a while now and have never gotten into much trouble with it!
