The Intel Pentium G4500 is around $80 but supports Hyperthreading. It could work like an i3 depending on the game

Honestly though, I feel like an i5 is perfect for everyday use and casual gaming. Pair that with a GTX 1050 and you're sold.

For some time now, the best bang for your buck is the Intel i5 family. This is largely because abilities of the i7 (8core min) are not yet largely exploited by software manufacturers.

Intel g4560 or AMD ryzen 5 or 3 can fit the budget.
