Personally, I enjoy PHP, however C# is also nice. New people should start on VB.NET in my opinion

So many possibilities but there is not one correct answer. It all depends on what kind of business you want to get into and what you plan to do... app development, web development....

However, I would say the strongest language you could learn is C++ as it will teach you a lot about how a computer actually works and improve your knowledge in the area exponentially. It may be hard to learn C++ at first as it's one of the more complex languages

Like stated beforethere'sno "favorite"languagewhen it comes to coding I would say "preference" is a better term but it depends on what you are coding as whatlanguageto use. A Goodexamplewould be ForMMORPGgames I develop I prefer C++ asthat'swhat mostlanguageMMORPG's use. But As I spent my younger years (When Ifirst startedto code develop website I enjoy or Prefercoding in PHP as it's not as much as a headache like C++ is.

I don't think you can choose a "best" language. It all depends on what you need to get done. You can't compare things like HTML and CSS to C++ and C# because they both are made for completely different purposes.

I think it's best to start learning from C then learning C++. Really helps you understand how computers work and makes it really easy to learn other programming languages.

C++ is my go-to language.

Like others have already said, I don't feel it's fair to say one language is "best". There are different languages for different uses. For game development, or software development in general, C++ and C# are both very strong options.

For software my favorite coding languages to use are c++ and C#. As others have said it greatly depends on what your doing. I work with software mostly so that's why i use these two the most.

I believe if you want to have a future as dev, I would do iOS + Swift and Android + Java. Mobile devs in US are super valuable.
