its different for purpose, like for tiny things or web things i prefer php, like i had to wrote a premium downloader for 1fichier because the uploader protected the 1000 links with a password jdownloader cant handle.

1. smal things on linux or web php
2. interactive things i use php and javascript with react
3. for system things like using dlls i use c# with mono under linux

its very hard every time when i have to change from php to another lang

ive been coding using c++/c#/php/lua and more and i dont think theres a best language as each one do the exact same job , you can use java for desktop/apps same as c# , but if ur a lazy person who want to do android/ios/windows app then u'll do it using c# instead of java/xaml/kotlin/swift and cross platform , and so far i think c++ is cool not the best

I am learning java at college too!
I am creating a garry's mod server and the files are all in LUA language, it's not so popular as java but I like a lot... simple and easy

Each language has their own uses. Not all languages do the same things, for example HTML/CSS is for web pages while python is a scripting language etc. All depends on what you are going to code.

Html ,JavaScript ,python and C# is basic enough to get started

There is no best coding language. Many have different applications and uses. Trying to say one is the best doesn't exactly do justice to the rest.

Just find something that feels easy for you, that you connect with, something that you can make projects on like Java or maybe C# (that's my one hehe). It's down to how you learn to code, The best way is to NOT COPY for others like Themes.

I started with Java as many did but eventually moved to C# as I found it a bit easier with more function and better libraries.
