Best game with the worst sequel!

Which game do you like very much, but the continuation of this game was a failure?

I was really disappointed by Mirror's edge: Catalyst.
The controls and handling were great and even improved in some aspects but the story was just god-awful and the ending makes you feel like EA kicked you in the stomach and left you laying on the ground. Doesn't climax at any point!
You'd really expect more from a dev company, more than what an Indie game dev could put out, but the quality seems to be worse than someone who has just picked up Unity for the first time.
I don't want to spoil anything so I wont go into detail.
