Best place to learn Lua code ?

what is the best placelearn Lua code ? im a complete beginner and have no past experince

i learned lua from gmod back in 2010. i read/studied pre-made addons and from their, i put a shit ton of functions together and it all worked. its hard and you will run into a lot of problems but if you dont give up, you eventually hit your goal.

also youtube is an extremely good place!

Tutorial's Point has a really easy to follow tutorial on how to get started with Lua. The website is easy to navigate, and has clear instructions on what you need to install. It even goes into the history of the language and how it got started. If you're a visual learner, Youtube tutorials work well too.

I personally learned lua making custom games for dota 2 but its the same for everything pretty much you can learn from YouTube. I recommend learning on something you enjoy for me that was dota.

There is no "best" place however the way I started was simply through basic Lua Programming videos on youtube which helped me understand the language. From there I went further into GLua and RLua in which I learned by a combination of tutorials, reading/studying the wiki's and then a lot of experience.
