Best top lane?

There is no "best" toplaner in my opinion. Every toplane has his own job , for exampel Trydamere is a god at splitpushing while riven can oneshot an adc.

I don't know about the best but I always play Urgot top, he is kinda strong against Teemo and other annoying champs

If you master Irelia no champ would mess with you easily, I got to Diamond only playing Irelia (if banned: Urgot, Jax, Sion, Renekton)

I'd say gnar, has much potential and skillset to do much or darius. both of them are good. but it really depends on the situation.

aatrox is pretty powerful nowadays jax is still pretty good too imho

Well if you don't have tank you can pick Mundo, who can kill every champion 1v5 in late. Enjoy
