I use Spotify and use the discover weekly often or go to a songs "radio" and find them like that. Are there other ways people have found effective?

Spotify. I listen to "Daily Mix" and find new music there. The playlist is generated according to your preferences

I also use daily recomendations of spotify, it really finds some good music.

Your best bet is using the daily recommendation on spotify if you want something more they are channels on youtube that post obscure and new song daily.

listening to the playlists spotify has by genre to find artists, then really listen to what they do. usually the way i go to find new music

Check out weekly playlists from youtube, musi, spotify the more platforms the more opportunity to explore
