Nah but, if you are just getting started simple video tutorials should help you out!

As mentioned before, the php.net site have a great content. All the functions is well documented, and with a lot of examples, and with comments from users with code snippets, and others ways to use that function. I like it a lot. Best way to learn how to use a function.

I particulary don't know anything like that in any other language.

A lot of tutorials and free time to spend on coding. Also small rages when something doesn't work as you want to and you find out it's just a ";" that you missed.

When I was a youngan, like OP, I tried my hand at PHP on W3 schools. I could barely get past arrays, and that was the end of that for several years. It was boring, and I barely undersood it at the time not having any previous programming knowledge. However, my web dev skills exploded when I just ripped into a project not knowing anything. Just set your goal, google it and look at the answer on stackoverflow, and just build. You'll never learn more. I really think that tutorials have a very narrow scope, and spamming tutortials will make you lose interest.

Also, trying to fast is a mindset that will lead to disappointment. Your first few things are going to suck, but you'll only realize that down the track when you revisit your old code Smile

I've found just starting on a project is the best way to really start to understand the language, instead of just following tutorial after tutorial not really taking any of it in.

So just make a small project and google Smile
