Hello,

I am getting ready to host a forum site, that will be using a lot of SQL features to it. I do know that some hosts (Namecheap specifically) do not allow remote SQL connections for security reasons. I am looking for one that does....

Anyone have a good suggestion?

Thanks!

GoDaddy. I find it the best.. Cheap, easy, fast support, it can handle a lot of connections Smile

Try GoDaddy.com hosting, I've been using it for awhile.

I kinda like OVH. But, for all projects I've worked on, I prefer RamNode. They're super fast, specially their "VDS" option.

I would say GoDaddy BlazingFast or HostGator as one of the main brands imo.

I suggest trying a smaller host that uses cPanel, they are actually better sometimes.
