Agree with others here. It's sort of a high input high output process. If you have little money to invest (<$5,000 I'd say), you're not going to make back very much.

There are other crypto-currencies that are rising in price quite often though.

To be honest, with the dificulty lever that we face now a day, it's better to just buy and ride the wave. Buy low, sell high Mining is now more of a hobby than anything else. And don't even get me started with mining pools. The only one making money is the owners.

it's profitable if you use ASIC mining RIG you need at least $30k but not profitable if you use GPU mining
