Hi I was wondering where to start and what not to trust when it comes to doing bitcoin. I've always found it really interesting and is there really such thing as an irl bitcoin "coin"?

I answered some of this in my reply to you in your other thread so be sure to check that out.
If you're looking to get into BTC pretty easily (and free, for the most part) I'd recommend checking out faucets or offerwall sites.
If you're not too worried about spending some cash, buy some BTC and trade it around with other alt-coins.

Do not listen to any websites that promise to give you BTC in return for sending them BTC, i.e. ponzi schemes. Just be rational, if it seems too good to be true it actually is.

Yes, there are physical "coins" but they hold no value. They're just a fancy gimmick.
