Build a pc now or wait a few months?

AS the title says, I want to take advantage of the new Ryzen zen 3 but it's really hard to get them at the moment.. Same goes for any new or decent GPU it seems.. Other parts generally seem to be accessible. So do I build a PC with the possibly overpriced Zen3 and GPU? Do I hold back and get older cpu and gpu, then upgrade those at some point in the next year? Or just wait until the cpu/gpu components I want are more available and then build .. Assume I'm after the latest GPU for the sake of argument, i still havent made up my mind on what gpu to get, there's a lot of options. But Im leaning towards keeping the build AMD..
I am literally open to any suggestions or advice

I would say wait but i would also say keep an eagle eye out for new item listings. Like check once a day

i would say wait for the after Christmas sales to build it cause you'll be able to do it cheaper and probably easier in my opinion

If you have the funds now, I'm always on team "Buy Now". You definitely have to keep an eagle eye out if you want to catch certain parts in stock. Hopefully that should change soon.

Id wait until you can get your hands on 5th gen Ryzen chips and 3000series cards

You should for sure wait for a new month if it isn't urgent, you will be able to buy all the components cheaper/in stock or buy new released components.

I would think about waiting. The hard thing right now is new graphic cards, and unless you have a microcenter near by and can hang out when they get shipments it's going to be diffficult to get things at a retail price.

If you're going top of the line, might as well build it as soon as you can find the parts. If you're going for mid or mid to high, wait a couple months for the new wave of GPUs to really bring down prices for older cards
