I don't mind paying for a subscription, the problem is that almost all the current business model is subscription based now.

I prefer to pay xxx for an application instead of paying a subscription I think Apple should take the time to look closer at all these apps with subscription.
Often the subscription is in no way justified, and for personal use of some applications for example for the 3D sharp3D. 239 standar a year or 499 professional for some personal use is incandescent I find.
Or even applications that I paid for that are now free with a subscription.

I wonder what you think of this evolution?

I find the subscription model to be horrible personally but it's obvious why the companies do it (money). If I could just pay a set amount for an application I am usually going to take that route.

I agree, I miss the days when Adobe had every paid software, now I use serif applications instead. If you add up all the subscriptions you need, it's either all your money goes into it, or you have to stop learning and discovering new things at this scale, today this business model has become discriminating for me.

I wouldn't mind the subscription model if it has a fair price. although I prefer to go for a one-time fee if it is available.

Sure, it makes sense, but that's not what's happening right now for me.

if it is not a fair price, I usually go for a cracked one from a clean source. adobe software especially is overpriced.
