Buying Miners, still worth it?

Title pretty much explains it all. I remember 2 years ago buying miners was the best thing to start with mining bitcoins.
Is it still a thing? Has it evolved in terms of efficiency(expected) and lower costs(electricity, internet and whatnot)? Every time I search for miners I find a bunch of the same used to sell years ago just with different names and confusing descriptions

what i think is dat mining is never worth to do with just one pc, especially if it is the main and only one

Honestly, btc miners are overall just a waste of money.

if you're going to mine any other coin than btc go for it

Waste of money you need so much in rigsand honestly the market now you dont make anything

only if you have free electricity/believe in the future.

No, unless you do it in China or Thailand, where electricity is heavily subsidised by the government.

mining bitcoin isn't a good option any longer. perhaps something else would be worth your time though.

Well. There is still nicehash calculator.

Only way you can theoretically make any money is by mining some altcoins in hope that they will go up in future (or bitcoin, but you will need really powerfull miner).

Useless! Waste of money you need so much in rigsand honestly the market now you don't make or get anything
