I have a simple question to ask to you

I'm french and in our country, normally we are vaccine friendly.
But because it's a fresh vaccine, with a new technology inside, a lot of people have difficulty to trust it (excluding all the theoricians etc...)

I'm agree with them due to the fact that in the medical field, to be trusted, it always need time. Let's take the example of the vape,
2 or 3 years in the french market and always not trusted at all by the authorities.

What's your opinion on the subjectf?

I don't see what can go wrong. If Dr. Faucci and other medical staffs are taking it, it's a sign that they are confident in this vaccine and we should be too.

I didn't like staying at home for the start but now I don't really want to go out so now I'm ok with lockdown and staying at home. My friend said something about people getting social anxiety now because many people forget how to interact in person and feel weird or uncomfortable when they go out - maybe that's true. Seems simple but doesn't make it wrong.

I'm in the UK and here too we usually are very accepting of vaccines. I don't think I've ever met an anti-vaxxer before.

However, with this vaccine I am seeing a LOT of people saying they will not take it.

I get their concerns, it is new and to some degree untested. However, the same people will go out on a Friday night and take god knows what that they bought from a shady fella in the back room of a bar...then they won't take the vaccine developed by trained medical professionals.
