I think as long as a vaccine has gone through Phase 3 trials with 30 or 40 thousand participants with no directly linked adverse reactions, then it's fine. Vaccines that have not yet proceeded through that final phase I would not trust.

On top of that, millions have now received the jab from the more trustworthy companies/countries with no major reported adverse reactions apart from those who have bad allergies, which is to be expected.

Vaccines are well understood medical technology and millions of lives have been spared from diseases like smallpox, measles, polio, etc. If anyone has any actual, substantiated evidence of lasting ill effects I haven't seen it and I've been following the news on this very closely across a wide variety of news sources including scientific channels.

I think I come from a place of privilege to say this, but I really do like to stay home. Especially during this covid. I really find travelling down to work in an office pretty unnecessary. Unless you want to hang out with your coworkers etc. Honestly for me, I love working from home at my own terms and off site.

Hopefully it would be the last year to end the covid but we're really not sure about it since we can't predict what is really going to happen next

I think it will slow down, but it won't "go away" this year. It will probably see an end in 2022. Also, the vaccination process is considerably expensive and difficult, compared to other vaccines.

I liked staying home "before" and while I am used to it now, I do miss going out to museums and cafes.
