I recently started playing CS:GO again, so I searched for some methods to increase my FPS and this really worked.

Rightclick on CS:GO > Properties > Starting Options

then add following lines:

-high -threads "available cores or threads" -processheap -nod3d9ex -noaafonts -nojoy -novid +exec autoexec -freq "available hz"

?? ?

Yeah my FPS used to be all the time at 300 like a year ago then I came back and everything down to 150... even with these launch options :D They should optimalize it little bit.

These are really useful considering the panorama update requires more computer power than ever

Using Razer Cortex also helps. Also make sure to unpark your cores and make sure your CPU isn't in power saving mode in BIOS

I'm using this (maybe top performance settings = worst graphic):
-refresh <monitor_refresh_rate> -threads <number_of_threads> -nojoy -high -fullscreen +mat_disable_fancy_blending 1 +cl_forcepreload 1 -limitvsconst -forcenovsync +r_dynamic 0 +r_muzzleflash 1 -novid +mat_queue_mode 2 -disable_d3d9ex -r_emulate_g -softparticlesdefaultoff
