In all honesty, this game has a lot of potential, you can see how it was developed. Perhaps limiting it to PC for the 1st year of release would take of load from the developers to at least finalize the game (considering it was first developed for PC and then was ported to the other systems) maybe it needed one more year in development, either way, the suits forced the developers into an early release that everyone knew was not ready for publication, there is no possible way no matter the system running that they did not spot the bugs that went out with release, especially with having a Q&A team checking the games for bugs cause that is there literal job, so yeah. All in all, bad game for now, with the possibility of turning great in the future. And mind you I had a lot of fun playing it and only had a few issues, but it's the general issues embedded like Ray Tracing killing frames even in 2070-2080s which is not acceptable.

Cyberpunk 2077 was definitely one of the most hyped games in gaming history and has finally released.
Did the game meet your expectations or was the game a disappointment?
Could/did the game everlive up to it's hype? And why?/ why not?
The game was suppose to be innovative, the new direction for gaming in general & had less features than Fallout. Terrible hype imo

Cyberpunk 2077 giving time could be a pretty good game. I think it just had a lot of bugs when it first launched, but most will be fixed or have been fixed. There's a lot they could change and add to the game it looks good.

I voted "bad" but that's not entirely accurate. I did enjoy certain aspects of the game.

Pros:
*Ok graphics
*Decent storyline
*Decent side quests (the bigger ones, not the repeats)
*Cool environment/Setting

Cons:
*Pointless customizations
*Stale gunplay/options
*Poor optimizations
*Unfulfilled/Cut promised or showcased content
*BUGGY.

There's not much incentive to explore, while there are some cool things to find here and there they don't change the core experience.
There's not much reason to explore every nook and cranny and if you do you'll almost always fall through the world space.
You definitely get what you see at face value. They did a lot of cheap things to try to get the game into a playable state but you run
into a lot of broken or messy implantation of features. For a full fledged $60 product it feels shallow. Older games like GTASan Andreas
did leaps and bound better in their AI, open world andside attractions. I could go on and on but there's plenty of YouTube videos
expanding on everything that went amiss. I agree with all the technical short comings, but its not all bad. It'd probably be worth picking up
half off a year from now.

As for me, the game is very cool, despite its bugs !

I have learned to quit listening to reviews and experience it myself. Several times I refused to get a game because reviewers said not to, only to see other people actually enjoying it. From what I have seen Cyberpunk is no less buggy than 70% of the games released every year. With the ability to release patches, devs have started releasing less than full games just to keep their funding

Playing it on the Series X and it's dope. Basically an open world nu Deus Ex. All my bugs have just been graphical, nothing major at all.

I enjoyed my first hours with it a good amount, but I ended up making multiple saves and never actually beating the game on any of them as I was too busy focusing on character builds. I'd argue it's less of a "Flawed masterpiece" and more of an average AAA RPG-shooter with memorable characters. Without the bugs I imagine it'd definitely be better, but I don't think I'd ever consider it a masterpiece even without them. There's just too many missing features to really justify the state of the game. The world design makes some of the removed features very clear, i.e. how many places there are where you're supposed to be able to wall run, which was a feature they removed later in development.
