Being secure isn't the same thing as being trustworthy. Paypal works well as a service/tool for conducting business but do not mistake it for a bank and leave your money in it. I've seen hundreds of people get their money stolen by paypal and have experience shady behavior from them multiple.

I say this as someone who has a legitimate verified business account for nearly a decade and had my account locked up one day because I earned a little bit more money they expected me to earn. Had to resubmit all documents they already had on file about my nonexistent product supplier and a bunch of other intrusive questions about my business which is 100% legit. Being unable to use PayPal for a week cripple business and it took weeks to recover

So yeah, use it but don't get it twisted. Paypal isn't your friend, neither is any other company in the world. They don't deserve your nor have they earned it.

Been using PayPal for about 3 years and even have a line of credit through them as well. They've been the best honestly with financing and when I had a issue on eBay when someone stole my money. They gave it right back to me. Was rather impressed

I've used PayPal for about 3 years. Used their charity function, Put most of my Credit Cards in there, so yes. I personally think its really reliable.
I don't know why
I don't know when
But I know for a fact

It may be a stupid question, but I do not trust PayPal because it requires personal data, cards, etc. Have you had any experience with PayPal? Should they be trusted?

I think if you already trusted credit card company buy giving them your personal information, then for paypal it worth nothing to make a legal request on your country if you do something illegal and find you.
