Some people think differently but i believe to a certain extent that money can bring happiness UNTIL you have massive amounts in which it kind of defeats the purpose after a while

All people are different. Someone can live alone and have fun with money. I will be happy if my family is happy.

I would argue that it all depends on how simplistic or minimalistic people would like to live. Some would argue that a minimalistic lifestyle doesn't require money to be happy, but others would argue money is a way to enable you to do more things that could make you happy (i.e. travel or explore the world, go on vacations, etc.)

It can buy things that can make you happy but I dont necessarily think it can buy happiness. Hence why a lot of rich ppl end up killing themselves.

"Money can't buy you happiness" is just an excuse less wealthy/poor people give to make themselves feel better. People always bring up the argument of how "money can't cure your cancer" etc, etc. Nothing can cure a terminal disease but if you had money, at least you'd live out the rest of your life living lavishly than crying in a corner.
