Can you get VAC Banned on GMOD?

I've never seen anyone VAC banned on gmod before is it possible?

Yes but not really. Vac is enabled but the anticheat hasn't been updated in 100 years

But yea, there is a chance you can get a VAC ban in GMOD. They are connected. I had a friend that got a VAC from wallhacking and spinbotting in GMOD.

I've never heard of anyone being banned by VAC in garry's mod, I believe it's not as fiscalized as CS: GO

For sure, you can get a VAC ban on just about every game on steam to be honest.

To be honest, VAC doesn't seems to be banning people on Garry's Mod, but it's there.
Maybe it's outdated, maybe they are not hitting the ban button, who knows.

You cannot get VAC banned in Garry's Mod anymore.
There were two cheats that could get you VAC banned many years ago, both of those cheats are now broken, and don't work anyway.

No the VAC was apparently disabled because of custom lua being detected a a cheat when people where making stuff for the workshop, but you can be banned from servers since they have custom anticheat stuff
