I just thought about something, we all like to make fun of EA and other companies for making their games pay-to-win, but we've never really noticed that card games actually are literally pay-to-win since you buy packs to earn cards to win games. Mind, blown. We've all been bamboozled and who knows, maybe EA will come up with a new card game where they actually have an excuse to make it pay-to-win.

This isn't a serious thread please don't actually start a war please.

Not really, games like hearthstone give you so many free packs and daily challenges to earn gold to buy. Never paid a dime and still have new meta decks every season.

Yeah was really disappointed when they announced it, was hoping for a new game title instead of a card game.

The only card game cards I bought would have been the Pokemon and the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game back in the good old days.

Idk about you guys but Uno, Go Fish, 21, Liar, and all those card games aren't pay-to-win

best kinds of card games.

TCGs also serve as a collection and gained value in that aspect as well as being physical merchandise.
