crypto is the future as this tech was made in the 80's

but the problem with it its just like the stock market big big bubble as we saw not that long ago. which is very scary as we are now moving over to a cashless society cryptos will be the currencies.

now do i have to worry that i wake one morning to find i just lost 10k per face value of 1 coin practically overnight on my standard cashflow and not investments.

i would be rather concerned because if the current trend of what just happend if this is going to be are future currency when we go completly cashless by say 2050

Many many many people are going to be stipped of there everyday cash is a giant ponzi scheme to keep people poor so they can easily be controlled

Well, the technology came about in ~2009, not the 80's.

Crypto aside, we've been well on our way to becoming cashless for quite some time now, although it varies significantly from country to country... Sweden's currently the furthest along with only 1% of the value of all payments being made in cash in 2016 (compared to about 7% across the EU and US).

If you don't even know when the crypto technology was made what makes you think you'll know anything to come? Also, no the world will not be cashless. We would still be using cash as a currency like we were using.

Agreed... and even if cash in fiat currencies were to eventually get phased out, there will always be cash-like substitutes that people (or subsets of people) will use instead... e.g. choco pie snack cakes in North Korea, ramen noodles in prisons.

@ Bassdrop and @ Starfola you couldnt be so wrong

crypto tech started in the ealy 80's by a mac called david chaum he was a cryptographer by the late 80's he had developed and released digi cash e-cash which was based on what we call cryptocurrency today what you have to remeber this was the first wave of crypto.

About the mid 90's a few people started to move into this niche as more and more people started working with this tech david had been working people developed it and then it got developed again a bit like eveloution it adapted, grew and changed.

Then late 2000 the blockchain and bitcoin was released main stream but it was all from the work david chaum was working on

you just have to take a look at the 1988 economist

https://www.google.com/search?q=the+econ...gUE9jeCqrM:

They anticipated crytptocurrency back then in 1988 notice how the paper cash is burnt up and the crypt / alt coin is the new currency if you think thats not a crypto thats up to you

Cash will be completly gone and digital cash will be the only currency this has been a dry run to see how society would adapt take use of this tech before mandatory use of it

this is why russia is currently transfering there whole banking system over to the blockchain.

This tech is a good thing because it will help combat counterfit money productions, people doing cash in hand work who do tax evasion because you mark my words eventually your bank account will be a crypto wallet which the banks and governing organisations will have access too as there will be eventualy wallets with multipull access intergrated into the wallets

And you most certainly will not be hosting the wallet on your own computer have you recently seen the size of bitcoin wallet data stored on your computer its around 150gb i think

Anyway i welcome the tech i just hope it stabalises and is not as easily manipulated so easy to cause dips and stay on course with inflation

man if you just think that in a few years we'll be on our way to a cryptocurrency free world as bitcoin goes down and corporate companies start making their own useless coins no oneknows about andwill never care about because people are too busy working for big corp.
